登长城，做好汉
Never Been to the GreatWall - Not a True Man
“
不到长城非好汉
！”
这句话自我刚来中国就常听朋友们
说
。
从那时起
，
我就在心里默默地想
：
赶快抽时间去一趟长城
，
做一回好汉
!
记得第一次登长城是和一位伊朗商人
。
当时我们每人背了
满满一大包干粮
，
真以为要爬十万八千里呢
。
等爬到最高的烽
火台
，
我真的很为自己感到骄傲
——
终于当上好汉了
！
远眺万里长城
，
我的思绪回到了课堂上
，
老师的话音在我
耳边回荡
：“
长城是中国古代劳动人民创造的伟大奇迹
，
是中
国悠久历史的见证
，
是中国古代人民智慧的结晶
，
是中华民族
的象征
……”
看着那峭壁深壑中赫然挺拔的长城
，
更是让我肃
然起敬
——
中国人民真是太伟大了
!
我经常听人们说
“
万里长城
”，
当自己亲眼见到
，
却觉得叫
“
万人长城
”
更恰当一些
。
因为登长城的人实在是太多了
,
可能
大家都和我一样想当回
“
好汉
”
吧
！
第二天回到学校
，
同学们都好奇地问我
：“
腿怎么了
？
受
伤了
？
怎么走路一瘸一拐的
？”
我就很兴奋很自豪地告诉他们
：
“
我昨天去长城做好汉了
！”
因为汉语说得好
，
经常有伊朗客人请我当翻译兼导游
，
我
就不断有机会去长城
。
每次登上长城
，
我都会感觉自己的思想
在接受一次很深刻的教育
，
中国的历史文化真是博大精深
！
现在
，
我也数不清自己究竟登了多少次长城
，
渐渐的
，
我
终于领悟到
“
不到长城非好汉
”
的意义
。
因为看到崇山峻岭中
的万里长城
，
可以让我们感受到中国古代人民的勤劳和智慧
，
激励人们不畏艰难
，
勇往直前
！
我想
，
学习
、
生活的道路也和
爬长城
、
修长城一样
，
遇到困难时
，
只要心中存有
“
事在人为
”
的信念
，
继续努力
，
困难就一定能被克服
！

“H
e who has never been to the Great Wall
is not a true man.” I heard of this sen-
tence several times when I arrived in
China. Since then, I told myself to visit
to the Great Wall as soon as possible to
become a “true man”.
The first time I went to the Great Wall was with an
Iranian businessman. Each of us carried a full bag of food,
bearing in mind the long winding wall. When we made it to
the top beacon tower, I was really proud of myself – “Finally,
I become a true man!”
When I looked far into the distance at the Great Wall ex-
tending out of sight, my mind traveled back to the classroom,
with the teacher’s voice lingering in my ears: “The Great
Wall is a great wonder created by the people of ancient China.
It is a witness of China’s long history, the fruit of the ancient
people’s wisdom, and an example of the Chinese people’s in-
genuity.” Looking at the Great Wall which awesomely stands
on that rough terrain, I was filled with deeper esteem – How
great the Chinese people are!
People often say “10,000-li (5,000 kilometers) Great Wall,”
